I’m a Celeb’s Jill Scott is horrified as she gets a cockroach stuck in her ear during challenge

Footballer Jill Scott had to be attended by a medic on I’m a Celebrity… Get Me Out of Here! on Thursday after a cockroach got stuck in her ear.

The sports star, 35, had the creepy-crawly stuck in her ear after competing in the Scareground trial, with the show’s super fans instantly comparing it to the iconic moment 2011 contestant Fatima Whitbread got a bug stuck up her nose.

‘I’ve just got a cockroach stuck in my ear,’ Jill said, after competing for the beach day prize draw in the tough challenge.

‘Come to the jungle they said, it would be fun they said’: I’m a Celeb’s Jill Scott was left horrified on Thursday’s show when she got a cockroach stuck in her ear during a trial

As the medic got it out, Jill said: ‘Come to the jungle they said, it would be fun [they said]…’

‘Jill, that was bigger than the one Fatima Whitbread had up her nose!’ host Ant quipped afterwards.

Viewers will remember that in 2011, Fatima had 7,500 cockroaches poured into her Perspex helmet when one of the critters crawled into her nose.

During Monday’s show, Jill hinted at a secret feud with campmate Boy George.

The Lioness, 35, said that she didn’t want to get on the wrong side of the Culture Club singer, 65, and would do anything for a ‘quiet life’.

Jill and George found themselves on washing duty with the Karma Chameleon opting to use the pond instead of the bath.

Before adding: ‘I’m just doing as he says. Anything for an easy life.’

DJ Chris previously made similar statements and claimed George might be a difficult person to live with.

Speaking about sharing the RV with the singer he said: ‘I mean if George is in there, best of luck to anyone else who is sleeping in there.’
