Drake caused fans to go crazy when he brought out a surprise guest, Nelly Furtado, with him during his North Stars concert on Thursday.
Lucky audience members were able to capture the moment on video as the rapper, 35, and the reclusive songwriter, 43, joined forces to sing some of her iconic hits, including I’m Like A Bird.
The beauty took a break from the stage for several years following a breakdown as she focused on herself and her family.

At the start of one of the videos, Drake could be seen under a spotlight on stage about to introduce the hitmaker.
‘I need you to sing as loud as you possibly can, because this right here, took a lot,’ he announced to the fans.
‘But this next person’s music changed my life so much. I love her with all my heart,’ he added.

Seconds later, Promiscuous began to play as Nelly suddenly appeared on stage with Drake.
The crowd went wild and began singing along to the lyrics of the 2006 hit tune. Cameras immediately went up in the audience to film the special moment.
Following the upbeat song, the One Dance singer and Nelly started to transition into I’m Like A Bird.
Despite her long hiatus from performing live in front of immense audiences, the singer appeared to be having the time of her life.

Drake was performing at his OVO Fest, which is a three-day music festival held by the famous rapper and singer in Toronto.
Well-known celebrities and artists have been guests at the event before, such as The Weeknd.
Nelly made an appearance on the first day of the festival for the All Canadian North Stars concert.

Nelly had taken long stretches of breaks throughout her career starting in 2007. In an interview back in 2012, the songwriter explained her reasoning with George Stroumboulopoulos.
‘I don’t know. I just need time to kind of relax and live,’ she stated. The mom of three added how important her music was to her doing the ups and downs in her life.
‘My songs have always been a way of kind of understanding myself since I was a small child,’ she expressed.

During a panel interview on ITV’s Loose Women, she also opened up that she was ‘missing’ real life experiences to help her write her own music.
‘Also, touring on the road with my daughter, after a while, became really tiring,’ Nelly added. ‘I just wanted to be home.’
When talking about her third album, which included songs such as Maneater and Say It Right, she explained, ‘It was super exciting, but at the same time, I think I took too much on.’
After taking time for herself and raising her children, Nelly made a large audience more than thrilled during her surprise performance of her hits with Drake.
